The all-present wiper blades is a product of the industrial revolution and the design of the horseless carriage or car by a man named Henry Ford. The main instigator of the wiper blades is often accredited to a woman called Mary Anderson back at the start of the nineteenth century but I think this is arrant as the wiper blades would never have even been needed if not for the making of the car by Mr Ford. In some ways the passed on Mr Ford is the father of the wiper blades in the sense that without his manufacturing revolution the wiper blades could never have been designed at all.
Mr Ford was always considered a prodigious talent in science and engineering even at a brisk young age when in eighteen ninety five he was existing on his family farm in the open American plains. This passion was guardedly fostered by his parent who kindly sent him to work in a machine shop somewhere in Detroit to gain work experience and nurture his interest. The fore runner of all cars and wipers was produced not long after but was soon sold in order to finance the proceeding stage in his plan. This would come to conclusion in nineteen hundred and three when he started the Ford Motor Company, with nothing but a design and a prayer to make the languishing car affordable all of the persons of the world not just the privaleged. Later he combined forces with the afore cited Mrs Anderson who invented the first wind screen wiper proto type back about the same time after a visit to New York city motivated her to resolve the long standing puzzle of tram drivers sticking their arms out of windows in order to clean the wind screen of rain water. This atavistic wipers design had brushes instead of the standard wipers you see currently and a handle inside the driver’s cabin to power the windscreen wipers through its maximum range of motion.
A little bit later the hungry Mr Ford went into full time production of his model-t Ford with replacement wiper blades attached as default to all cars. Through the manufacturing history of the auto mobile the price was dropped continuously to an incredible low by finding ways to save money on the manufacturing process, utilising machines to increase ability he was able to output over fifteen million of them in his time. The replacement wiper blades in aspects was merely an after thought the complete chassis took less than an hour to generate with the replacement wiper blades probably taking just minutes to attach to the wind screen. Today the cars are even more exhaustive some estimates put the number of cars in the world at almost six hundred million which is a truly astonishing figure, in some small part the decline in the climate is a direct result of this explosion of pollution causing machines. The replacement wiper blades has also gone from strength to strength on the back of this success selling record figures last year alone, the best replacement wiper blades currently available are made from a substance called silicone.
